Ian Furlong balances being on the road for Uisce Eireann and using the Remote Work Hub @ Bree in Wexford

We met with Ian Furlong who works remotely from The Hub @ Bree one or two days a week.

Ian is an engineer with Uisce Eireann and while he is not on the road he does his administration work from the Remote Work Hub @ Bree in County Wexford.

Ian says, “My role provides an opportunity to work one to two days a week remotely. And those days vary from week to week. I guess the two biggest takeaway points for me are the close proximity to my home. But also the fact that it provides an office-style environment for me to work in and just helps to frame my mindset into that type of environment and helps to produce a productive days work.

The facility here is set up so that we just pay as we use it, which is great because it suits my flexible schedule when I’m only dropping in and out. Wexford as a whole is a great place to live and work. My wife and I both grew up here and we’ve lived and worked overseas for several years.”

Check out what Ian has to say about his experience working remotely from the Remote Work Hub @ Bree in County Wexford.
