Energy Engineer and Entrepreneur Terry Kavanagh enjoys the convenience of the Enniscorthy Enterprise and Technology Centre

We met with Terry Kavanagh who works remotely from Enniscorthy Enterprise and Technology Centre. Terry is an energy engineer for Novus Energy.

Terry enjoys the value for money and the collective energy use that working in a Remote Work Hub offers to him.

Enniscorthy Enterprise Centre offers great value for money because, for one monthly fee, I get my desk. I get access to the internet, canteen facilities meeting rooms, which is something I wouldn’t have been able to do as a startup, self-employed engineer. And also from an industry viewpoint, it’s definitely a good idea to work from a Hub, it is more energy efficient than heating a home for just one person whereas working here as a collective, it’s much more efficient.”

Speaking about Enniscorthy Terry and his young family enjoy their lifestyle in Wexford. “I find it makes for a great place to raise a young family there are lots of outdoor activities between the beach and the Blackstairs mountains, lots of forest walks, and in particular at the moment they love going out on Sunday mornings to Johnstown Castle, I chose work remotely because I like to have work-life separation with young kids at home was sometimes difficult to get that
